Autumn Update

The past couple of months have been very energetic and full of surprises, and I have a few new projects to talk about. Keep reading for updates about music at St Mark's, rehearsals for opera scenes, some recital appearances, and other exciting things in the pipeline!

Music at St Mark's, Hamilton Terrace

I continue as tenor choral scholar for another year at St Mark's Hamilton Terrace, and this year we plan to host Scholars' Recitals at least once per term. On 9th November, we're hosting a 'coffee morning' recital with some treats from Italian, French and German song repertoire, alongside some sacred polyphony with four voices. 

Also in the diary:

• 1st Nov - Requiem (Durufle)
• 5th December - Messiah - G.F. Handel (abridged performance with band)
• 13th December - Christmas Carol service

Opera Scenes

This term, I am very excited to be performing the roles of Caramello in Ein Nacht in Venedig (Strauss), and the title role in Jeptha (Handel). 

Workshops and performances are planned for the week beginning Monday 26th October in Blackheath Halls. Stay tuned for recordings and excerpts from these.

PuzzlePiece Opera @TrinityLaban

Having taken over as Treasurer in September, I have enjoyed coordinating social media and other organisation for PuzzlePiece's 2020 Gala, Festivals. 

The company exists to give more performance opportunities to Trinity Laban students, and we undertake varied and innovative projects each term. Later this year, we'll be collaborating with composers and hosting new works, as well as staging a production of The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart).
