What to expect

A new production by Samuel Pradalie

In conjunction with Tête à Tête and with generous support from the Ralph Vaughan Williams Trust, I am delighted to be performing in this innovative work for solo singer and ensemble on 10th September.

The performance will take place as part of the Tête à Tête opera festival 2022, and I will be returning to the festival after performing there in 2020.

An intimate production which explores the strange life of the composer, in his own words. The ensemble features instrumentalists, including an accordionist, and a solo singer playing the role of Satie himself.

Explore the mind of one of the 20th century's most extraordinary composers.
"Erik Satie’s Memoirs of an Amnesiac' is a set of surreal, humorous vignettes based on Satie’s writings. Drawing heavily on his own music, the show looks to transport the audience to the eccentric, ritualistic and uncanny world of Erik Satie."

I was delighted to make my debut with St Paul's Opera, Clapham this July, performing the titular role in Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring.
